Each time a woman is faced with a "life altering" situation at home or at work or in general - she has absolutely no clue what do to next.

In any of these situation/s women need to know what to do next:
1. Case of Molestation or Eve Teasing
2. Domestic Violence (both physical and / or mental)
3. Rape or attempt to Rape (by family / friends)
4. Molestation or Rape of their child in the family (where the woman is the mother)
5. Life threatening situation, impending threats to body and self
6. Cyber Crime - Blackmailing - etc
7. Sexual Harassment at the work place
8. Dowry related torture
9. Parents forcing to marry when the girl is a minor
10. Parents forcing to marry someone the girl doesn't like - and she is a major
11. Forced pregnancy abortion - due to female child
12. Unmarried Pregnant Girl seeking help
13. Woman being sold into slavery-like condition
14. Woman being forced to bear children
15. Women / girls being accused of witchcraft (fearing for their lives)
16. OTHERS...

This list above in just indicative on what women face and what they don't know answers to.

We realize that the biggest impediment in most cases is "not knowing whom to goto and armed with what information".
Added to this is the fact that almost all taboos relate to a woman raising her voice against her oppressors. She afterall is "ghar ki izzat" and she cannot act else it would be deemed as "ghar ki deewadhi langna"

Women and girls find themselves emotional isolated.

Are you aware that the rate of suicides among married young women is higher as a % than farmer suicides?

As THIS isn't even being tracked or dealt with!

We propose:
1. A dedicated 1-800 number for women to call on. These numbers shall be manned by trained volunteers.
We shall also strive to have lawyers dedicate time - and we shall have them "on call" and promote that date and time to all.
We shall also have legal interns - interning for us periodically.

2. Have a dedicated Social Media platform created for online group chats, live sessions by experts for small and large groups

3. Create a physical MeetUp platform in each city - where women can meet up and talk.
In case a platform already exists in a city, we shall join them and strengthen them.

As FLaGG The Butterfly Project Forum - strive to help women "help themselves better, safer and more effectively"
