Mahesh Mesta, aged 29 is a resident of a small village named Nagare in the Uttar Kannada district of Karnataka. He is a dialysis patient and contracted COVID a few days ago. He is currently undergoing treatment at A J Hospital, Mangalore for kidney and COVID related complications. He is in the hospital from the past 6 days and the bills have come to nearly 3 lakh rupees. He belongs to a poor background and the family has run out of funds and is ready to sell their house to pay the bills. As time is passing the bill is increasing. His family is unable to shift him to any other hospital due to the non-availability of beds and his condition. His medical condition is very critical and is in urgent need of funds.
