My name is Pari Bathija and I am from Thane, Maharashtra.
Pet fractures can be scary, and it’s important to make sure they’re taken care of quickly. Hello, this is Magnar. A 2-3 month old puppy, weighing 3.4kgs, who was run over by an auto driver. The arrogant driver was driving above speed limit, near a public garden and ran over this little puppy. On being inquired about his recklessness, he denied accountability and further stated that the puppy was bound to die if it ran around like this. This happend around 9 to 9.30pm on 31st October. As a part of daily routine, we went to feed this puppy’s family around 3-4pm and saw the puppy bandaged the wrong way. She had lost a lot of blood and was in a terrible state of mind the entire night. She was taken to a vet on 1st Nov, at 6pm, and the doctor stated that if he was brought in even a little later then she wouldn’t have survived. The puppy has been given the necessary treatment and is on medication. She is the most cheerful puppy to have ever met our eyes who is now going through such a tragedy. All of this happend due to the lack of responsibility of the driver. We named her Magnar because of her strength and how she is a survivor of this sad event. Often fractures require surgery to allow the bones of your pet to heal correctly and to limit future lameness. The most common questions we get regarding fractures are around expectations and timeline, we aim to give you a better understanding of what to expect before, during, and after fracture repair surgery.
She is receiving treatment at Top Dog Clinic, Thane, under the observation of Dr. Barry.
We hope this fundraising will help this dog back up and move again! We require 30k more for the treatment and medications. We request all of you to donate through this link and please share the link with your families and friends.
