Hey, I am Abhilasha and I am raising funds for the medical treatment of my father, Mr. Madhusudan.  He had suffered from a heart attack followed by brain stroke on 24 January, 2019.  
He was immediately admitted to the ICU in Apollo Hospital, Bhubaneswar. Post stroke, he is unable to speak (aphasia) and right side of his body is paralysed. He was kept under life support for a week.

Further misfortune struck when on 2 February, 2019, there was a serious fire accident in 5th floor (ICU) of Apollo Hospital, where Papa was admitted. My father is one of the 26 patients who got shifted to different hospitals following the tragic accident, and we rushed him to AMRI Hospital, Bhubaneswar.

After 3 days, he developed certain complications (Brain Edema) and brain surgery was performed to save him on an emergency basis. My father has been undergoing treatment in the ICU from last 48 days.

We belong to the middle class, my father is a government official, and I am a law student. My mother is also a patient who had undergone brain surgery 8 years back. We have no medical insurance. We have already spent Rupees 12 lakhs and are financially very weak to continue funding his treatment, which will take another month or two, and will cost us another 18 lakhs Rupees approximately.
