To rebuild Pathshala ki Library, destroyed by Vadodara floods

Pathshala, run by Srotoshwini Trust, is a school near Parsuram Bhatta in Vadodara, educating the underprivileged and street children. Hit by excessive rains, the city was flooded and so was our school. Not only the space, the kids have also lost their books, stationary, storybooks and all the reading materials.

I am Madhuri Adwani, a storyteller who is associated with the organisation which is more like a family for almost two years now. It is our dream that each child learns to dream and pursues it. That one step closer to the dream is to give each one a book. It is our appeal that each one of you think of this one book in every child's hand. We have lost all our books but we dream to rebuild the library again and eventually shift all the books to our Hostel in Lasundhara which will be inaugurated on 29th September,2019. We would be grateful if you can shell out your hard earned money to help these kids read their stories again! No matter how much you can contribute, it will add to our library. Let's join hands to create this.

Dear Supporters,

Thank you all for the love and support.

This is to inform all the donors that we have successfully raised the amount we needed for the library and we have started curating the books we will need for the same. First order with Katha Publishing House, New Delhi has been placed whose invoice am attaching below. We are still in the process, collecting books and placing orders. In a month's time, we will have our library get set go. This has been possible because you believed in the cause. Thank you for your support.
