In the current Covid-19 situation, the Bangalore police is serving a noble cause towards protecting the city from the spread of the virus. As they spend hours in the sun monitoring activity, the supply of drinking water may not be adequate. This initiative would ensure sufficient hydration and prevent medical consequences of over-exposure to the sun.
The Bottles will be distributed to police stations in Jayanagar, JP Nagar, Banashankari, Basavanagudi, and BTM layout, as well as checkpoint junctions in the area.
