It is said that God gives the hardest battles to His strongest soldiers. This year, as 2021 ushered in a ray of hope and new beginnings for most of us, God chose Likitha for her hardest battle at a tender age of 12. Likitha lost her mother to cancer. 

The battle for Likitha had unfortunately begun very early in life. Her parents got divorced when she was 5 and as a result, her mother, Shyamala had single handedly managed her education and upbringing till the ugly turn of events on January 9, 2021 when her mother succumbed to the disease.

Her mother, Shyamala, was a single child and alongwith Likitha’s upbringing, she was also responsible for taking care of her ageing parents.  She was the only breadwinner in this family of 4. The world has come crashing down for them and as they rebuild their hopes and aspirations, Likitha needs your support. She is a bright child and aspires to study engineering from the coveted IITs, a dream which she had set her eyes on, before God chose this battle for her.

A strong and sincere appeal to all of you to step in and do your bit for Likitha to win this battle. This small act of yours will restore a child’s faith in humanity, propel her to work harder and pursue her dreams.
