As the crisis grows, the livelihoods of a large number of families in India that survive on daily wages have been affected deeply. Workers at construction sites, shops, restaurants, delivery staff, and local transport systems, the daily wager community has seen their only source of income come to a screeching halt, leaving them with no means to earn themselves a meal during these days of lockdown. Hunger and desperation prevail, and we can do something to help our fellow citizens.
During this time of pandemic people in my area are suffering from medical and economic problems. There are very few medical facilities available to tackle the COVID-19. But support them economic is almost zero. I want to support the daily wage worker as it will help them to survive this silent disaster.
