I am Vignesh Raghavan from Chennai, trying to raise funds for my friend Lakshmanan, with whom I attended primary school. 

Lakshmanan is 31 years old and the father of 2 kids, Kanish aged 5 and Tanishka aged 1.5 years, in Chennai. He worked as a supervisor with a civil work contractor who also did several jobs to run his family.  His wife, Rupini, is a homemaker. 

Due to the COVID19 lockdown, Lakshmanan has not found any work. His father-in-law Mr.Saravanan, aged 51 years, recently majorly started showing symptoms of COVID19 and on taking several tests, found out he had Stage - IV Liver Cancer. 

All of the family's savings have been spent on his treatment for the Cancer including Chemotherapy, which still continues. Meanwhile, the family struggles to feed their 2 little kids 3 meals a day. Little Kanish's school fees are due and Lakshmanan and his family are still working hard to make ends meet. Baby Tanishka is a toddler and her regular expenses for food, diapers etc are unfortunately not met by the family.
