On May 30th, all that changed. We got a call that Kulli had wounds all over her body, and the people living on the farm sent us a video of her current condition.
We rushed Kulli to the Cessna Lifeline, where she was diagnosed with severe burn wounds. Her condition was so bad that the skin was necrotizing and sloughing off. She required a blood transfusion and needed her wounds to be debrided under anesthesia.
The doctors pulled us aside and told us that the wounds on Kulli were not accident wounds as the reporter claimed but rather wounds from electrocution. *Kulli was electrocuted by someone and left to die in this horrible condition*.
Kulli had to undergo a debridement surgery. The doctors did a phenomenal job in saving Kulli. She is still is at Cessna Lifeline, where her prognosis looks good. However, saving Kulli was very expensive.
As of June 17th, Kulli's bills have reached Rs. 81,000. The doctors have informed us that the total estimated bill will be closer to Rs. 1,50,000. In addition to that, We will have to put Kulli in a shelter for rehabilitation and recovery. We expect this to cost Rs. 30,000. So we are fundraising a total of Rs. 1,80,000.
Please help us save Kulli. We cannot bear these expenses on our own and will need your support.
Also, if you know someone who can help us bring justice for Kulli, please contact us.
