Kitaab Club works to build the habit of reading among underprivileged students in India.
The children associated with our program have had little access to storybooks and have never been to a library. They often lose interest in school and choose to drop out. Imagine being promoted year after year and not being able to understand a single word written in your school textbook!
In an attempt to ensure every little one could choose their very own book from a shelf, our team tok time out from college to conduct several book donation drives and donated hundreds of books to village schools. We went on to conduct reading workshops in over 5 states in India and launched simple libraries wherever we could.

 We managed all of this through the support of friends and family, and making use of our pocket money however we could.

We are now trying to raise funds to sustain future expansion and maintain the quality of our work.

We were wondering if you could assist our cause by donating money to Kitaab Club and helping us bear the operational expenses of our NGO, and the cost of developing colorful libraries at select locations for the next year.
Your money will aid us in designing creative and fun spaces for children to explore the world of books.

A part of your contribution will also help us bear the operational expenses of our village level Readership Program, connecting University students from across India to the grassroots level, while developing workshops to ensure every child realizes the value of reading.
