What is the reason for this fundraiser?
Many students at the SETU school (in Nithari, Noida (India) - details at MySetu.org) are unable to attend remedial classes as they do not have safe travel arrangement. Their parents are not ready to allow them use public transport due to the pandemic fear. This is an effort to help selected 15 such students of the school (selected on merit and means) by giving them bicycles (with helmets) to commute for their classes in these testing times. What is the rationale or calculation behind the asked amount of INR 63,250?
Each bicycle would cost INR 3,500 and a helmet INR 650. With delivery charges of INR 1000 the total is INR 63,250 (3500x15 + 650x15 + 1000). Whatever little or more you can - please contribute!
