“Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect.” ― JK Rowling

It’s with a heavy heart that we share the most beautiful, gentle soul has left us suddenly. Apurv is forever in our hearts and will live through our lives and journeys. We feel stranded, with him leaving us so suddenly; he gave us no chance to say goodbye.
However along with these precious, unforgettable memories, he also leaves behind a vivid image of himself in his mother, younger brother and wife.

Apurv fought courageously with covid while looking after his covid impacted family. On April 27th, when his dad was finding it tough, and his oxygen levels were depleting; Apurv scouted NCR taking his dad on an ambulance for hours just to find an ICU bed– only to ensure his father gets critical medical care at the right time... but like so many more this time round, he couldn’t find anything.

On April 28th his father’s condition further deteriorated and he admitted him to a neighbourhood hospital that was running out of oxygen and all critical supplies. The following day, his father lost the battle with Covid.

Apurv’s condition started to decline rapidly. His father’s loss was devastating and overwhelming for him and in the next few days he was at Sarvodaya hospital in Faridabad, under critical care and life support.

He promised all of us that he will fight hard and return healthy – and he did for a full week, but unfortunately his body succumbed to this cold-hearted disease, forcing his heartbeat to stop on Monday, May 10th, 2:30am.

Apurv always believed that a person is just not made to do one thing. He dreamed of living a simple life with purpose, significance, fulfilment and giving. He was everyone’s well-wisher who managed to cross the biggest hurdles of life, with a smile on his face. He was always available to help and sacrificed a lot.

Everyone can find a piece of themselves in our Apurv. That’s how special he was!

If Apurv were alive today, he would’ve rushed to help more families going through this crisis, to help them with oxygen supplies, concentrators, or treatment or maybe just extend that warm hand so that no one else went through the pain he and the Passi family went through, trying to save his dad.

As friends and family of Apurv, we want to make that wish of his, come true. Through Apurv, we want to help as many people as we can to get those critical supplies…
This is a memorial fund – which aims to help critical patients through verified groups and organizations who have sacrificed their own wellbeing to help patients on the ground. Much like what Apurv did.

All the proceeds of this fund will be given to these verified entities, that also closely partner with Adobe India.

We aim to help as many patients as possible through this fund and hence request you to support (contribute & share with others) as much as possible in Apurv’s memory.

Hope you can make time to remember him and his dad who raised him to have such values; and contribute to keep his memories sparkle.

We are extremely grateful for your thoughts , prayers, well wishes and incredible support.

You’ll be missed and loved Apurv! Forever.
