Kavitha BP is from Virajpet, Coorg. She is a widow living with 2 sons. She and her sons live in a old mud wall house which is 20yrs old, in the same mountain where the landslide happened in coorg 2yrs ago and few people died. When the landslides started, they had to leave the house and stay in a shelter place. Since the time the landslides started they started to move to a safer side of the mountain as the back of the house already has slided down and it very risky as any time the house may collapse. Last year as well they had to live in fear of house getting washed away during monsoon. What ever savings they had they have started to build a house to move to before monsoon, however they do not have enough money to finish the house. They would need a little support to complete the house so that they could move before the monsoon and not risk staying in the old house that might be dangerous to stay in this monsoon season.
