Kathputli Colony comprises of artists - puppeteers, magicians, musicians, acrobats etc.
A part of the colony has been sold to big builders by the DDA.
On 30th October 2017, all the Kathputli Colony has been demolished forcefully, leaving just now 400 Houses out of around 3500 houses in total by DDA/Police.
What if, one fine day, the remaining people wake up to find themselves homeless!
I, Satyajit, have been documenting the lives of others, and is trying to construct a film against all odds. Lack of funding is coming in the way of making this vision a reality.
And it is impossible to ask for funds from Govt. of India or Corporates Funders for obvious reasons.
We request you to become a part of this film and suggest/help/fund/guide to complete and watch the cinema of truth.
