The local strays dwell there for their basic needs of food and water since the past few decades.Over the past two years, the industries have relentlessly disposed fatal and injurious chemicals and substances that have hampered not just the strays but, also the aquatic life of the river. This has caused harmful reactions on the dogs that dwell near the river and are turning them blue.We are a group of 15 people sho reside all over Navi Mumbai and have decided to work against this exploitation. We welcome anyone who wishes to join us in this drive to make Taloja a better place for it's strays. This hazardous issue started in 2017 and has been continuing since then despite several requests and letters to the local Municipality. The strays are suffering through various skin disorders and infections that are caused due to the harmful reactions of the chemicals. The aquatic life has declined by 57%.
This needs to be seen as an awakening to protect the nature and give back what it deserves. The humankind is becoming cruel and ungrateful to it's environment.
