My name is Rajesh KS and I'm here to raise funds for my father's (Karra Venkataswamy Sekhar, 67yrs) treatment who is having breathing issues as diaphragm(bilateral lower lobes of lungs collapsed) is not responding.
He was admitted in Apollo hospital, Tondiarpet, Chennai on 27th Aug'21 due to severe breathing difficulty. The treatment initiated in Critical Care Unit for drowsiness and low GCS and therefore was intubated and mechanically ventilated. On evaluation, he had anemia CT abdomen showed retroperitoneal hematoma of about 10cm with coagulopathy. Therefore, he was shifted to Apollo hospital, Perungudi, OMR, Chennai on 4th Sep'21. Here, he underwent Tracheostomy on 7th Sep'21 and major abdomen surgery on 10th Sep'21. His ET cultures grew MDR klebsiella pneumonia for which contact isolation was placed and his antibiotics were adjusted.
He is being treated with IV antibiotics, antacids, cardioprotectives, DVT prophylaxis, nebulizers, antihypertensives, diuretics and other supportive measures.
He is being managed by Team of doctors including intensivists, gastrosurgeon, neurologists, urologist, cardiologist, neuro surgeon, vascular surgeon, haematologist amd IV physician.
Currently he is being treated for high levels of aluminium post getting heavy metal screening done and will be in hospital for more 7-10 days with maintaining 100% oxygen with 30% FiO2.
