Bruno is a St. Bernard mix that has had a very difficult life. Abandoned as a puppy, he was found by two young children and taken home. At their house, he was regularly beaten until he grew weary and aggressive of people, and the family abandoned him. He wasn’t properly vaccinated or fed, and had lost a lot of weight even though he was just 2 years old. He was then rescued, but after months of working to find a suitable home - he had to be moved into an expensive boarding facility in February 2019 where he would at least have the space to run around. He has still been unable to find a home, but his medical and boarding bills have added up. He has now the opportunity to move to a facility in Bangalore, where dogs like him have the space and opportunity to live a happy life. We were unable to find Bruno a home, but we do hope we can raise enough to get him into this facility. The cost to surrender him & the transport is Rs. 35,000 and the boarding & medical expenses already paid is north of 75,000 (Feb-June). We are trying to raise funds to cover as much of his care as possible, but we urgently do need to send him to Bangalore. Any delay in this will only increase the boarding cost, so please contribute as much as possible for his care. He deserves another chance to a happy life, and we do not want him ending up in a shelter. Thank you in advance.
