Hi... Myself I met Sophie late in the night. It was the 23rd of June and the time was around 2.00 am. The meeting was not pleasant.
I found this adorable doe eyed bundle by the roadside badly hurt. The car or cars that hit her didn’t wait to see how they left her helpless by the roadside.
My roommates and I took her to the closest hospital (give the name here).
We knew she was not a stray. She had the markings of domestication - the dog collar, the name tag and also a phone number. No surprises that the phone number didn’t exist. She had been abandoned.
When we reached the hospital we were told that she has multiple fractures in her leg and would be needing surgery. She went through the plating bravely. However, the plating didn’t work for her because of her age and her frail physical condition. As her condition worsened the doctors realised they have to amputate her leg to save her. The surgery was done and Sophie recovered. Today she’s standing tall on her three legs.
I have been with Sophie through her journey in the hospital and she’s been nothing but cooperative throughout.
When we had got her to the hospital her liver profile was very poor and she was critical and still she is at critical level as after the operation when antibiotic stops her kidney and liver syndrome slowly came to notice. Her kidney and liver not functioning very well but doc s are trying at their best ability... She is much better under renal specialist doctor Ekta Thakker (Ghatkopar)... Sophie is  fighter and she will fiught through this. Please help her getting her treatment on time so she can recover on due time... And be healthy and spend rest of her remaining few years in peace ... As I have decided to adopt Sophie forever..
