Help My Mother Recover

Hello everyone,

My name is Abhishek Kumar Singh, I'm from Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh. Because of the unexpected demise of my father on 20th March 2019, my family and I have been going through a very unfavorable situation, especially my mother.

She is already recovering from mental trauma and has been very apprehensive through this hardship, but it is extremely unfortunate that she has gone through another one. Quite soon after the demise of my father, on 8th April 2019, my mother fell and got severely injured. The first X-ray reports were misleading due to the swelling in the ankle region so, it was redone and turned out the fracture was more severe than expected. Considering her arthritic infirmities, the doctors straight away advised for a surgery. Though the surgery is assuredly done, she will be on bed rest for quite some time. I somehow managed to pay for the surgery through this campaign but I will have to pay for her medications and post hospitalization expenses and I am not in a position to do so.

Secondly, my younger brother who is engaging in Computer Science Engineering from the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur. I will have to pay for his personal and academic expenses in the near future too.

Lastly, there is a home loan amounting to the sum of Rs. 800,000.00 (First one being of Rs. 700,000.00 & second of Rs. 100,000.00 the respective EMIs being Rs. 6584.00 per month & Rs. 985.00 per month) which needs to be paid till 2020 and because the home loan was not insured so, it cannot be waived off. Therefore, it has to be paid either through a one-time settlement (Which will be about Rs. 100,000.00) or through EMI as per the structured schedule. That being the case, to prevent any legal action against the property.

The treatment of my father was primarily covered by informal lending. His group health policy of Rs. 400,000.00 was not enough for the treatment & we had to pay a total of Rs. 832,137.00 excluding medicine bills. Hence, we need paying this money back eventually.

On behalf of my family, I request you all out of our grief to help us get through this and make contributions of whatever sum amount you can. It would truly help my mother recover.

Thank you ahead of time.

Hello everyone,

My mother is starting to move without a walker now. She was also diagnosed with osteoporosis & arthritis (which she had). So, the medications are being continued accordingly. The pain killers are being continued on SOS basis as it will take time for her to move like she used used to. The physiotherapy is being given to minimize the pain.

Thank you each and everyone of you

Hello everyone,

My mother is recovering pretty well. On 28th May 2019, there is another appointment with the doctor. Post-plaster removal she might need physiotherapy for quite some time.

I thank each and every one of you for their selfless contributions for my mother's recovery.

Hello everyone,

First off, I would like to thank each and every one of you whom I may have known or not from the core of my being for being so selflessly supportive of this campaign.

I was less afraid and more embarrassed to put up another campaign (shortly after setting up one for my father) because being in shoes of a primary breadwinner I didn't know what else to do to fund for my mother's treatment. I have learned from my recent experiences that if you don't ask for help, you simply should not expect to get it.

I would like to add that with an initial goal amount of 30,000 INR we have raised 22,880 INR but we already have paid about 40,000 INR.

So, I am changing the goal amount to 50,000 INR as I have to pay for her treatment and also pay back the money I owe.

Sincerely

Abhishek Kumar Singh
