Mountaineering for me has been like a second life. What started as hobby, turned out into a full-time job once I shut shop of my previous business: A restaurant. Ever since, I've steadily been learning the craft and climbing progressively higher peaks. Also holding a PCGI (USA) Certified Level-I Rock Climbing Guide, I've completed climbing various peaks in the range of 4000m, 5000m, 6000m & 7000m. Now it's time to graduate to the ultimate category: 8000m
Standing at 8848m, Mt.Everest is the tallest mountain in the world and there are only 14 peaks that are higher than 8000m, with Mt.Everest being the tallest.
This project is very dear to me, to which I've been preparing since 2014. I believe that now is the time to attempt Mt.Everest (Apr-May, 2022), wherein I have the required experience to safely climb and come back. Climbing this peak will open various avenues for me, especially professionally.
The only thing more challenging than climbing Mt.Everest is raising funds for the climb. The total cost of this climb is about USD $45,000/- or INR 35,00,000/- lacs. Of this, USD 11,000/- goes for the Climbing Permit to the Nepalese Govt. The rest will be required for arranging the logistics, food, oxygen, etc. for making the climb possible.
I'd be happy to share the details of the above, before your contribution, so that there is complete transparency.
I'd be very grateful to receive any amount of financial support from you towards my greatest journey, yet.
Thank you!
