Kala has been rescuing street dogs in need and getting them much needed veterinary care for many years. She currently has 63 dogs, 12 cats all were rescued from the streets with serious injuries, accidents or just from abandonment. She has painstakingly taken each of them to hospitals and given them life saving medical care. All of her animals now are spayed and neutered and in good health. 36 of her animals have one or two amputated legs, 6 are paralysed, 2 underwent orthopaedic surgery, 1 had a tumor removed and another had a chronic hernia fixed. 4 of her cats are amputees. All others have recovered from various illnesses like skin disease and tick fever. To get to this point she has had to spend a great deal of time and effort and money. Despite all efforts there are still bills pending in veterinary hospitals that she is unable to close. So please come forward and help her with the bills.
