So if you guys already know me, my family and I are big animal lovers. I'm an army kid and my father has been posted to various places across India and my family, wherever they've stayed have always provided shelter and food (food which was specially made for them and not just the left overs) to the stray dogs!
As we all know, due to the wide spread of COVID-19, the poor souls out on the roads have nobody to feed them and seeing the homeless dogs out on the streets in this pandemic situation has broken our hearts. The initial part of our initiative is to feed these dogs who have done no harm to mankind and are still suffering.
Everyone hesitates in adopting a stray dog, hence why not just feed one.
These funds will be used to feed the homeless dogs in and around Colaba, Mumbai and Central Delhi. Each donation, no matter what the amount, will make a massive difference to our cause, and it will go directly towards feeding stray dogs in need. So, I request you to please help us make a difference!
If not donations, we request you to make a few extra rotis/chapatis and feed the stray dogs in your societies or colonies. Also, it is a humble request to all of you to not waste food during this Pandemic because the food that is being thrown in the garbage bags in some houses, could end up saving a lot of stray animals.
Once we establish a stable and continuous supply of food for these stray dogs, our subsequent objectives are to help the NGO’s with their hospital expenses for the treatment of stray animals.
Such times call for unity and togetherness. So, let’s make sure we come out of this together and without leaving anyone behind!
