My friend's mother (K Pramila) was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. She's been fighting stage 4 Cancer for more than a year and half now. With no support from the family, she had to take care of her treatment by herself. Aunty has developed other conditions due to ill health. The costs and procedures have taken all my friend's savings. Aunty was in critical care for the past 21 days and has been hospitalized 3 times in the last 8 weeks. Her lungs are filled with liquid due to cancer and the draining process has to happen frequently only then she'll be able breath. This will be an ongoing treatment.
