A group of highly educated and like minded person decided to constitute a NGO, Adhikari Foundation for Nature Conservation with a mission to create a society of motivated citizens, committed to conservation, preservation and protection of the environment. It will strive towards a life in perfect harmony with nature.

It was created and registered  in 2008 - 09 under Socity Registration Act (XXI) 1860. The registration number alloted is 1182/2008–09. The AFNC is also registered under section 12 A /12AA and 80G of Income Tax Act.

AFNC is working for the protection and conservation of nature, support wildlife conservation through awareness and by promoting livelihood options to reduce dependency of local people on natural forest. Besides it worked on various aspect of education and training among school students, conducted exposure visit among specially able children. Health check up camps were organised in remote village side of Jharkhand. We attempted to improve the quality of life in society through income generating scheme.
The school students were motivated to plant tree in their school and near  their surrounding with a concept  that we must return to the earth, what we take from it.

The organization is working since last 12 years in the field of Environment, Education and health sector with little support of the Government and largely with the support of friends and family members as donar. Now we have sufficient experience to excute any welfare scheme based on the need of the society. We wished to mentally and physically challenged children and support rural students in their studies by initiating scholarship program. We also want to fulfill the dream or wishlist of small and poor kids especially from rural areas.

Our organization is facing resource crunch and hence need support through crowd funding.
