My Name is Sanjukta and I am here to raise funds for the treatment of my husband Mr. Jugal aged 50 who was admitted to the Apollo hospital, Bhubaneswar on October 23, 2020 . We rushed him to Apollo with complaints of breathlessness and severe chest pain. A CT scan revealed COVID pneumonia. Antigen & RTPCR also confirmed COVID. Since his condition was critical, he was admitted in ICU & on the oxygen support immediately. A couple of days later he was placed on ventilator support because of his worsening respiratory condition.
Its been 35 days already since he was admitted in Apollo & about 25 day on ventilator support. The cost of the treatment has already crossed 18 lakhs as of today Saturday 28/11/2020. He was the only earner in my family with a wife and 15 year old son. Out of which, 4 lakhs have been covered by insurance. We have been managing remaining expenses from our little savings and loans from friends & relatives. His ventilator/ICU/treatment cost varies between 30,000 to 50,000 rupees/day. As per doctors, the recovery is very slow and we are expecting at least 30-45 more days of hospitalization/treatment. We are estimating at least 20 lakhs to pay the hospital bills & to ensure my husband is given the best of treatments.
Now I am at a situation where I have to come to you kind hearted people's help to save my husband and bring him back home. The road to recovery is not an easy one and unfortunately costs a lot of money. I will be forever indebted to you for all the help and prayers you are showering for my husband. I am also attaching all reports and hospital statements pertaining to my husband’s illness.
