This is Aparna, and I am here to raise funds for my mother Gouri teacher's old student Joseph who is 46 years old. My mother has known Joseph from his school years. Joseph is an electrician.

Joseph is suffering from Chronic  Liver disease with Portal Hypertension from the past 4 years. He is receiving medication from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (Amrita Hospital). He was being treated since then and now the only option left to save the life is the Liver Transplantation surgery. The donor for the transplant is ready and he is due for the surgery planned for 1st week of August, but has not yet been admitted due to lack of funds for it.
Joseph lives in Kochi, Kerala with his spouse & 2 children (boys in 11th & 9th class). He is the only earning member in the family and has not been able to go to work for the past few years due to the illness. He does not have enough resources with him or his family to raise this kind of money immediately.
Until now, Rs.8,00,000 has been already spent on his treatment too.

We were able to collect some amount through savings & loans. In the next few days, we need Rs.18,00,000 (18 Lakhs) more for the Liver Transplantation. Please come forward to support my cause.
