I am Joicy (Jorly) Joseph (Ranjith).  33 years old.  I live in Alangad, a village in the Ernakulam district of Kerala, India.   I have husband, 6-year-old daughter and sick parents in my household.
I am fighting Grey zone lymphoma cancer since 2016.
Ever since the gray zone lymphoma was diagnosed in 2016, the graph of the disease was varying up and down. The treatment started in 2016 with 6 cycles of chemo at Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum, Kerala, India.  I underwent 3 cycle chemo and 2 mini beam again in 2017 and 2018. After the treatment in mid-2018, I continued with the follow-up until March 2020.
Then came the severe back pain and the  follow up scans confirmed; “cancer returned”. This time gifting me with a large lump in my spine upgrading Gray zone to Non Hodgkin's lymphoma.
A series of 10 radiations couldn’t do any better in the fight with this dreadful disease. Then I took a very intense 6 cycle chemo only to realize I’m at loss along with the Doctors on what to do next. The doctor ordered Petscan and assured if I get good result in this chemo I can go for bone marrow transplantation (BMT). Fingers crossed.
Having no one to be by my side, my husband had to quit his job and take care of me, our 6-year-old daughter and our sick parents. This crushed all our financial capabilities paying for the treatment and paying for the bank loan. Our house is now facing foreclosure from the bank with arrears of  Rs 10.50 lakhs.
With no option left, me and my family is looking up to you all good people for any possible help to fight and win against Cancer.
Like many, our life has just begun. But me…., we are already exhausted ….. mentally, physically and financially. We request help. Believe there is still hope
