I am J K Shiva, a visually disabled, transmasculine person and I am21 years old. I have been fighting for myself since childhood.

I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), a deteriorating eye condition when I was 3 years old. I'm about 95% blind, which also includes night blindness and partial color blindness. I realized that I was a transmasculine person after I attained puberty. I fought with my parents, the conservative society and have transitioned successfully. I have been struggling due to stress, anxiety, and depression for more than 3 years, and in this duration, it was very hard for me to study at my college. Now that I have transitioned I would like to complete my engineering graduation. 

I'm enrolled in one of the top government central engineering institutes. I'm about to graduate after two semesters. After my transition, my parents have been unwilling to support my education. I was ostracised from my relatives too. I have gone days without eating to pay for my education. I have been applying for part-time (online work since I can't do much of physical work owing to my disability), but in vain. I couldn't even get myself a good blind walking cane for my daily struggles. The day to day struggles due to my disability and identity is exorbitant. I have been fighting for a fair life and hoping to achieve it someday.

I have faith in humanity and that is why I took to fundraise for myself after so much thought. I have to pay Rs. 75000 per semester for my engineering education including tuition fees and hostel fees. I'm hoping to support myself through a job after my graduation. I have survived until now because of some of the kind souls in this world, I won't give up. Please help me graduate which is the only means of my survival.
