My sister in law Jhuma Sikdar (House Wife) has been suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukemia - Myelodysplastic syndrome (Blood Cancer) for the last 9 months. She has been admitted in the Apollo Cancer Hospital, Kolkata. Our family has already spent INR 47 Lacs for the ongoing treatment. Recently, the doctors have come to the conclusion that she has to undergo bone marrow transplantation for the treatment and an additional cost would be involved. A rough estimate for the transplantation has been given of a minimum of INR 30 Lacs. It is now very difficult for our family to arrange additional funds for the ongoing treatment. I hereby make a humble plea for monetary contributions for this purpose. Any amount of contribution is of immense importance to the family currently to cater to the huge amount of money needed and will be accepted with deep gratitude.
