My mother Jayasheela who is 60 years old.  She has been diagnosed with a blood clot in the brain and requires immediate surgery. The surgery is expected to cost INR 2.5 lakhs and we do not have that kind of financial backing. Her diagnosis until now (done at St. John's hospital, Bangalore) has cost us INR 80,000 which we have borrowed from all known sources and used up all savings.
