Today, UNICEF estimates that India has the highest number of child labourers in the world, a total of 12 million. A substantial portion of these children live in situations of poverty and exploitation. Though several factors continually contribute to this staggering number, the overall leading cause is a lack of educational opportunities provided for children.

At Prime Trust we believe that there is no better way to pull a child out of a life of poverty than through education. As such we endeavour to enrich children’s lives through educational and social programs including remedial schools, extra-curricular activities and child parliaments.

Janani Home for girls was established to create a safe and structured environment, where underprivileged girls, born into deprivation can focus on their studies and develop individually. Girls are often neglected in Indian society. This home is therefore incredibly important for their lives, creating more opportunities for their future. Prime Trust provides free educational programming, financial sponsorship, and a network of positive role models for the girls.

Why we make an appeal to you?
The cost of education, food, shelter, electricity, transportation, salary for the staff members are increasing day by day and we find hard to meet the expenditure.

Your support will bring light to these deprived children! We make a fervent appeal to you to take part in our mission!
