"My child's non-stop cries tear my heart apart. I wish to see him living a healthy life like any other child. But unfortunately, he didn't sleep peacefully, even for a single night since birth. His pain and sufferings kill me day and night. I am praying as that's all I can do." Aaniya, mother.

A fatal condition has turned Jaid into a skeleton-like structure. All he does is lie down on the bed and scream in pain. He always complains of stomachache and doesn't eat anything. He has lost control over his bowel and bladder movements. He cannot stand on his feet. He is suffering, and without continued treatment, there is no chance of him returning to a healthy lifestyle. Worse still, he could even lose his life.

Seven-year-old Jaid is suffering from Intussusception and Peripheral Neuropathy. It is a medical emergency involving obstruction of the intestine and can be fatal if left untreated. It is a severe condition in which part of the intestine slides into an adjacent portion of the intestine. This can lead to a tear in the bowel (perforation), infection, and death of bowel tissue.

Neuropathy is damage or dysfunction of one or more nerves that typically results in numbness, tingling, muscle weakness, and pain in the affected area. As a result, he isn't able to move his body, nor can he walk an inch.

Jaid's father, Anjum, is the only breadwinner of his family and works as a labourer to feed his family. He has borrowed money from people and spent it on his child's treatment, but there is no improvement in Jaid's health. As Jaid is dealing with severe health conditions at such young age, his mother, Aaniya, always stays at home. Their house has befallen dark times ever since his condition deteriorated so drastically. The poor couple has no idea where to take their son for treatment with no money.

"After going through many hardships, I got him to a good hospital in the hopes of saving his life. We begged and borrowed money from every possible place to get the initial phase of his treatment started. Now we are left with nothing. Please help us." Anjum, father.
