We are committed to improve the sanitation facilities, menstrual hygiene, electricity supply and better quality education at the workplace through the co ordinated efforts of our volunteers. But all these initiatives are being challenged by the lack of regular supply of funds to our foundation. This pandemic has hit us hard. Despite the dire requirement , we have not been able to manage regular fund supply to sustain the activities at the workplaces. We are running Jagrukta project under which we supply sanitary pads, soaps ,disinfectants to the workplace. We are also looking to provide them with access to medical practices through collaboration with doctors. Under our Kripa project we provide funds for purchase of vegetables and groceries. Under our Sikshyalaya project we have been imparting education and training to the inmates by supplying them with notebooks, books etc. During the pre corona periods our volunteers used to visit and impart education to the inmates of the workplace. Now we are looking to start online education at the workplace. We have also supplied fans, electric bulbs etc to improve the living condition of children there.
This pandemic has hit us hard. We are not able to sustain our activities and help improve the lives of children there. So we are turning to crowd funding. Currently, we are running out of funds and to support the 27 children of the orphanage for next 10 months (until March, 2022), we need to collect a fund of approximately INR 75,000.
Jagrukta and Kripa Project:
Monthly expenditure on vegetables = INR 1200
Monthly expenditure on toothpaste = INR 625
Monthly expenditure on detergent = INR 470
Monthly expenditure on soap bars = INR 800
Monthly expenditure on disinfectant (phenyl) = INR 360
Sanitary pads and disinfectants= INR 800
Total monthly expenditure on essentials = INR 4255
Expenditure estimate for 10 months = 10 * INR 4255 = INR 42550
Currently, in this pandemic we are supporting their education remotely but we do not have enough resources to do so.
Smart Phones (Qty: 3 pcs) = 3 * INR 5000 = INR 15000
Monthly Data Recharge = INR 1200
Expenditure estimate for 10 months = INR 15000 + (10 * INR 1200) = INR 27000
Emergency Medical Fund for COVID = INR 5000
Net Fund Required = INR 42550 + INR 27000 +INR 5000 = INR 75000 (approx)
