My name is Jabin and I am a widow and (53) years old. Early demise of my husband pulled me away to take up a casual job in a local trading establishment.
During the past few months, I have been experiencing cloudy and poor vision during day and night; impeding my daily normal activities like cooking, reading and outdoor activities as well.
Having had encountered this alarming and worrying situation, I decided to consult the doctor. After various tests, scans and panic-ridden waiting, the doctor advised me to go for cataract surgery on both the eyes.
He further advised me to undergo the surgery of one eye within a month period to avoid complexities which would tend to develop in case of delays whereby I might lose my vision permanently.
This unfortunate news literally turned my life upside down. My medical bill is estimated to Rs. 37000/- per eye surgery. An amount I can in no way collect over such a short period of time. I have no one to turn to besides my friends, and well-wishers, like you.
I am yet to fully digest the shocking diagnosis and cost of treatment. I requested for leave for three (3) months at my workplace was granted an unpaid leave and an apology. My husband is no longer alive. I now sustain my selves on my tiny saving and help from my neighbors.
Looking into my destituteness, the doctor suggested me about medical crowdfunding. I saw how well other fundraisers on the website were doing and hope like never before filled me. Now I cling onto this, the one hopes I have at not to lose my eyesight.
And now, I have no choice but to turn to you with the heavy request to contribute and of save me plunging into darkness.
Every donation counts. I would be grateful to every kind donor that chooses to contribute to my recovery.
Thank you so much in advance.
Sincerely yours,
Jabin Mulla
