‘Suhit Jeevan Trust’ is a 'Public Charitable Trust’ registered under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. Since last 15 years, the trust is running a ‘Palavi Early Intervention Centre’, ‘Sumangal School for mentally challenged children’, ‘Eklavya Vocational Training Centre’ for mentally challenged adults above the age of 18 and “Light House Special Teachers Training Centre” at Taluka Pen, Dist. Raigad, without any government grant. Initially this special school was started with only 10 students, but now the number has increased to more than 110. Our activities involved a number of community services projects serving the poor, needy and disabled children of downtrodden families staying in rural & tribal areas from 44 villages of Pen, Uran & Alibag talukas of Raigad district. Though the number of disabled children in the remaining villages is high but due to lack of awareness, long distances, lack of financial assistance from government and low socio-economic status of people living in these rural areas, all individuals cannot reach the institution and take advantage of special services provided by the institution.
Our special children has very weak immunity towards various diseases & to protect them as well as our staff, parents & entire premise we intensely need to have Covid-19 preventive kit in the institution. This kit will play a very crucial role in protecting lives of our special children from Covid-19 pandemic. Sir, due to lack of government grant & lack of funds, we request you to kindly sponsor us this kit which is the first priority of the institution for the safety & security of our special kids.
Covid – 19 preventive kit has a great importance for our special school for the following reasons:
- It acts as a preventive measure for Covid – 19 pandemic.
- It supplements the security to our students, staff, parents & entire premise.
- The mere presence of this preventive kit can have a significant impact towards
diminishing the damage caused by the disease.

the institution premise.

- It helps to keep smooth functioning & healthy environment in the institution.

There is nothing more essential than protecting the lives of our students & staff. To make our Special children active, smart and self-confident, the institution has to take care of them from all crucial situations & therefore we require Covid-19 kit for their safety, overall growth & development. Along with this request letter we have attached an estimate for the Covid-19 kit required for our institution. Kindly support us for this Noble Cause for the health, welfare & rehabilitation of our Special children.
