Hridya Ramesh, a B. Tech Biotechnology graduate from Thalassery, Kerala was diagnosed with Foramen Magnum Meningioma in 2015 while she was doing her last semester. She still went ahead completed her B Tech with high Distinction. But since then she had undergone 4 surgeries for the excision of the lesion compressing the medulla.
Now her body is almost paralysed and she breaths through tracheotomy and she is fed through a PEG tube.
The most difficult part is the frequent convulsions, which sometimes is severely painful as her chin goes and hits at the tracheotomy fitting.
