Fundraising initiative by PAVS NGO and MNIT Batch 1994.
India is ravaged by an aggressive second wave of the virus, there are fewer beds for COVID patients, not just in Delhi but also in Jaipur.
We are in the process of setting up temporary medical facilities in collaboration with hotels and hospital chains. One such facility is being set up in Hotel KG residency, Jaipur with logistics from a leading hospital. This hotel is adjacent to the hospital.
It will be used as a step-down facility for COVID patients who are in the recovery phase at the hospital. It will not treat new patients due to government compliance issues. But it will allow the hospital to treat more covid patients.
We shall get 10 oxygen concentrators and other medical equipment (ventilators, Bi-Paps, PPE Kits, Masks, etc) ASAP. This will help in shifting stable oxygen-dependent patients from the hospital to this new unit and this will make available 10 more beds in the hospital for critical patients.
Oxygen concentrators, ventilators, Bi-Paps, PPE Kits, Masks, etc will be free for patients (zero charges) But hospital & hotel will charge their fees as per the listed Government price.
If this model is successful for 10 beds, we can scale it to a much larger number including multiple such facilities.
