    This fundraiser will benefit

    Hemant Shivram Khake

    from India

My name is Dharmesh Patel and am setting this fundraiser for our housemaid Priyanka Joshi (nicknamed Asha).

About her she worked as a housemaid in Marol Andheri Area of Mumbai and lives with her husband/son and daughter. Her husband works as a supervisor in a FMCG company.

She has been recently diagnosed with Hypo Plasto Anaemia , kind of rare degenerative disorder where bone marrow stops or reduces production of RBC/WBC and other blood cells. Since last 4 months her blood reports show continous decrease in blood cells triggering reduced immunity. This makes her susceptible to all types of infectious diseases. And drops her survival rate in coming 5 years if the condition is not treated effectively.

As per the consulted haematologist there are three type of treatments for this cause
1) medicines - approx cost 4 to 5lacs per year (chances to recover 40%)
2) ATG injection THERAPY - approx cost 8 to 10lacs (one time treatment) (chances to recover 65%)
3) bone marrow therapy - approx cost 10 to 15 lacs (chances to recover 80%) this treatment like blood relative donate bone marrow to patient.

Her family has opted for ATG Injection therapy since it is one time and are presently trying to accumulate 10 lacs INR of corpus.

NOTE 1: Patients financial condition is already stressed and  due to lack of accumulated corpus of 10 lacs, her family is unable to get her admitted to the consulted doctors hospital. Whatever amount is accumulated till date is getting spent in routine medicines further decreasing the overall corpus.

NOTE 2: Her BLOOD REPORT and HOSPITAL PROVIDED COST SHEET are attached here for everyones scrutiny.

Requesting all people to contribute whatever possible amount so that she can get admitted to the hospital for ATG Injection therapy.
