In view of current COVID-19 situation, we have taken up a project to support needy families of daily wage workers, footpath vendors, maids and farm labors who lost their employment due to prevailing unprecedented situation of lockdown.
We are providing them with a grocery kit comprising of 7.5 kg Wheat, 2 kg Rice, 1 kg Tur Daal and 1 lit cooking oil (Cost approximately Rs. 500). The contents are enough to feed a small family for 15 days.
We already have supported 500 families and kits for another 1000 families are being distributed.
There are still a lot of people in need of help in the form of basic food material.
We are now targeting 1000 families as the lockdown is now extended. It is difficult for daily wage labors working in cities and rural areas and workers working as porters in fruit and vegetable wholesale markets.
We, hereby, again appeal our well-wishers and donors to come forward and support them generously.
You can support a family of four for a month with Rs. 1500 .
Lets come together to help the needy come out of the situation with our help.
We are not filming / photographing while we are helping them.
