Moti an adult male dog from the streets of Sion Koliwada needs your help to survive.
After getting a minor infection in his left ear, maggots started eating his internal tissues.
He uses to cry all day in pain while black color puss uses to come out from his ear.
We tried his first-aid treatment and on-spot treatment but he uses to escape. We gave him some painkillers
anti-infection medicine and tried to heal him.
without any improvement, Moti was admitted at BSPCA around APR 2019 through WSD.
After 2 months of dressing and x-rays, in JUNE 2019 doctors released him back on street.
He stopped eating and starting losing weight. While his pain and infection were growing and his right ear also get infected. He uses to rub his wound on the road and used to scratch his ears with his
Sharpe nails and so developed wounds around his head and neck.
After seeing his condition Again, Moti get admitted ad IDA in Sept 2020 where he spent 1 year of
his life in the canal where doctors use to give him regular dressing, but still his both ears were in bad shape.
The infection was getting worst. And in OCT,2020 he was released back on street from IDA.
yet, No improvement he uses to cry for help... And then With the help of the Sherry & Diya Foundation.
We started his treatment at Dr. Drona Patil's Clinic at Lalbaug. He did his X-ray and blood check-up.
and found that his Hemoglobin is less and his ear canal is fully infected.
He suggested surgery for both ears and gave him dressing and some medicine to recover his hemoglobin.
The Total Cost of Surgery will be around 16,000 Rs.
From that Sherry & Diya Foundation promised to pay 50% of the Total Amount.
Ambulance Charges around 7,000 Rs for regular dressing.
Post Operation care around 2,500 Rs per Month.
Other medicines will be around 3,000 Rs.
Proper Nutrition food 4,000 Rs per Month.
We are raising around 24,500 rs for his treatment.
