Basic Estimate & Utilization of Funds:- Dry ration (wheat, Rice, oil, sugar, Masoor dal and salt) (@ 1 lacs for approx 8-10 days of meal)
- Sanitary Pads , go-girl brand (@Rs 17 per packet of 7 pieces)
- Solar Lanterns (@ 700 per family/hut) (if new electricity supply is not started in this month)
- Sulabh Sauchalay model self managed 4 WCs (@ 3 lacs, a very largely populated basti)
- Providing additional water pipe line/taps. (@15K)
Please visit bastis (slums) in our own cities. It is really a pitiable state of affairs out there.
Due to lockdowns there are many poor daily wagers who are not in a position to go out and earn (knife sharpers, garbage bag sellers, beggars, casual unskilled laborers) .
