We are students from Indus International School Bangalore, Grade 5 who want to take the initiative by starting a fundraiser in order to raise money to help the Migrant workers who are stranded in Bangalore. Your donations will help organizations like VOS in Sarjapura and Whitefield Rising in Whitefield to provide food and assistance to the migrant workers in our community. Let us open our hearts and share the responsibility of being global citizens.
Why should you donate?
Migrant labourers, who struggle to become breadwinners for their families, have the pressure of their dependents counting on them. These men and women have helped build our homes and our roads. Currently, their grit and resilience are being put to the test in the form of unemployment, lack of shelter and being separated from their loved ones. To add to this hell, gruesome food shortages threaten their very lives. If you donate, you will be feeding the people and families who helped create our homes and roads, they will be healthy enough to reach their families again.
