Hi! My name is Harsh Vardhan. I have been working as a journalist in India for nearly seven years and have closely witnessed the issues plaguing our society and the system. Realisation hit me first when I faced an unexpected health crisis in 2016. After being misdiagnosed with TB and the subsequent treatment that lasted a year hurt, both my morale and finances were hit drastically. However, I figured that one has to be the change one wants to see. Hence came the decision to pursue MA in Public Policy to help learn and then address the woes of India and the world that start at a very basic policy making level. I have received an offer for MA Public Policy (Integrated Pathway) from University of Birmingham (2021-22) with a scholarship of 10,000 GBP. However, the fee and living cost still add up to a total of 30 lakhs. I cannot possibly afford that big a sum. I am looking at loan options, but that too seems an uphill task. Would be really thankful if you guys help me reach my fund target here so it can aid my intent to gain higher education and help make the society a better place with empathetic and conscious policies.
