My father, Haripada Sarkar (58 yrs), working as a LIC CLIA Agent passed away at 1 pm on 16th May,2021 in Barrackpore, West Bengal after a lengthy battle with COVID-19, leaving behind us. He was a kind hearted and honest gentleman.
On 30th April, Friday he had high temperature, 7th May his oxygen level suddenly went near about 74. I was blank at that moment and took him to the nearest general hospital to support him with the oxygen. After that we decided to admit him to a private nursing home in Barrackpore. Though we don't have that much financial stability to pursue the medical expenses but after all he is my father. After admitting him on 7th May he was still in touch with me till 9th May, but suddenly on 9th May he suffered with severe hypoxia and doctor transferred him to the ICU bed. After a long battle with COVID-19 he gave up his last breathe on 16th May at 1 pm.
But as i said earlier i admitted my father to a private nursing home so the billing for 11 days is so expensive for me to pay them. They almost made 3.2+ lakh billing for the treatment of my father. Though i am able to pay some advances to the hospital because without advance they didn't continue the treatment. But still there is 1.7 lakh outstanding bill. It's quite tough for me to pay this bill because i am now 21 and i am not financially independent.
My mother also affected with COVID-19 but she is now okay in home isolation. Now i have to go on with my mother and my sister who is only 16 years old.
Now my family is ravaged by this unfortunate and untimely demise and i really need your help to form a better future for my family.
I am raising this fundraising because i can't find any way to overcome this situation. The amount you contribute will help me to pay the outstanding bill and create a better future for my sister and my mother. That's it.
