    Gunipati Devi Priya

    from Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh

With the deepest sadness, we convey the news of the demise of our beloved Sai Pratap Athikari who was only 32 years old, due to COVID after a couple of weeks ICU battle (a week on a ventilator) at a private Hospitals in Chennai, India.
We have tried all possible lines of treatment but couldn't save him.  It is a highly unfortunate and brutal manifestation of destiny.

He is survived by his wife Devi Priya and 2 children (Thishaan Siddartha Athikari 3 years baby boy & Lakshya Athikari One and half years baby girl)
As most of you know, Sai Pratap was a great functional expert who designed several manufacturing process improvements including QR code scan functionalities in one of the major Electrical equipment manufacturers.  Almost 6 years served in Genpact out of his 9+ years of SAP PS module solution Architect experience.  He was proactive to own many challenges working closely with the manufacturing team to give productive solutions to run better their business.

Since he was the only breadwinner in the family his unexpected demise caused a lot of emotional and financial distress to the family.

His wife Devi Priya hasn’t come out of this shock yet. Devi Priya now faces the task of being the sole caregiver for their 2 loving kids, after being a stay-at-home mother all these years. It’s beyond any imagination what amount of pain and grief they are going through while also trying to plan for life ahead without her soulmate, their protector and provider.

At this juncture securing the future and welfare of both their kids became a top concern and priority.  Therefore, we decided to help his family through fundraising.  While we cannot take out an ounce of Devi Priya’s pain, we humbly request all of you to please support her with whatever you can to help.  Please note: No contribution is small & this is absolutely voluntary.
