My name is Shashank Vashishtha and I am here to raise funds for my friend Gulam Zafar Ahmad who is 34 years old. Both of us have studied together at the Aligarh Muslim University and are now working as advocates. I've known Gulam Zafar Ahmad for almost 15 years now.

 Zafu as we lovingly call him is a cheerful and intelligent person who is always willing to help anyone needy. He lives and works in Guwahati  in Assam India with his wife and kids (His father passed away recently after hearing about his only son's illness).

He is suffering from blood cancer from the past few months. He is receiving Treatment and medic at Prince Aly Khan Hospital Mumbai.

Until now, we've spent about Rs. 500000 on his treatment. We've arranged the amount from his family's savings & loans from relatives and friends.
