Govind is a 20 years young aspiring architecture student and the only child to his parents. His father is an unemployed man and the only earning hand is his mother. His parents are planning for separation and Govind doesn't have a good atmosphere in the family. Yet, he is preparing to join B.arch to fulfill all the dreams of his parents. A very bright student and an athlete is a normal 20 years young adult.
Case Summary:
Govind went to maternal aunt's home in Banglore with his mother to attend a social event. It seems he consumed contaminated food and water there which caused him pain in his stomach. He come back to his aunt's home in pain on his own, by one hour bus traveling.
Next day he started bleeding through anus and was taken to a Hospital in banglore. They advised depositing INR 40,000 to admit govind in ICU. His mother could not afford the money so took him to a local doctor Ankur taneja, who admitted him in his clinic assuming it could be a food poisoning case. Unfortunately, the next morning Govind’s bleeding did not stop, So Dr. Ankur advised him to admit him in Aster RV Hospital, JP Nagar Banglore.
Despite having the fund crisis,govind's own Mausaji/Uncle (Deepak ji) paid the initial money from his pocket to admit Govind in the hospital. Doctors at Aster RV hospital said that Govind’s condition was critical and he required immediate Embolisation which cost INR 150,000. Unfortunately, the bleeding started again the next day and now Govind’s parents are in a fix, whether we continue his treatment or let him die.
Transportation to a local government hospital is high risk because Govind requires uninterrupted blood, platelets, and oxygen. It seems it would take another 10 days until he gets stabilised and the cost of such treatment and rehabilitation would hit INR 15 Lakhs, as estimated from the Aster RV hospital’s billing which has already touched INR 450,000 in 3 days.
Currently my cousin is in a unconscious state surving on ventilator support, we are unable to pay the required amount because we can't afford such a huge amount. I request you to kindly contribute towards the treatment and help in this hour of need.🙏
