As our PMO says, “Clean India , Grow India”. We only understand the external meaning of the initiative by getting our physical surroundings clean but what about the personal cleaning. One of the most essential aspect of female hygiene ‘The Mensuration Cycle’ is seldom talked about. What we really do is either we avoid the conversation or we link it to issues like women empowerment, but things cannot work like this. The lesser known facts are that only 12% of country's 355 million women population uses sanitary napkins and about 70% of such population treat it as luxury - saying they can't afford pads. Truth is that it is every women's necessity which a large chunk of them still cannot access and which is the major reason for their in hygiene periods and poor health. So here's our initiative “Ye Lukka Chuppi Kyon”- We will be creating awareness about hygienic periods by using sanitary pads amongst females who are denied of this basic need. This initiative will help such females in understanding the prominence of their sanitation needs in their overall well being.
To fulfil this noble vision, we seek your support to expand our network of coverage. Please come forward and help us in making this initiative a reality! Let’s together create a society where every female has unlimited access to her basic need.. sanitary pad.
With your valuable contributions and support we will be able to increase our outreach to more and more women and make the lives of this underprivileged part of society better.
