Hello, my father Gerald Pinto(65), a humble and kind gentleman suffered a massive brain stroke on Friday, 3rd Sept 2021.
There is continuous haemorrhage(bleeding) on the right side of his brain which has led to a clot and swelling on the left side of his brain due to pressure. He is critical, in MICU at Fr Muller's hospital,mangalore, since the start . Pressure reducing medications have done little to help and the doctors have recommended immediate craniotomy surgery to save his life as his condition is worsening with each passing minute. The operation alone costs four and half lakh rupees (4,50,000RS) and other charges amounting to total of roughly 5 lakh rupees. I am Brandon, his only son, and though I finished my studies recently, the Covid pandemic has made it hard for me to secure a job. My mom is unemployed and our family has zero income.
